Question Can i run displayport to DVI on 144hz

So i bought back in 2017 gn246hl acer 144hz monitor and i used gtx 1050 gpu and i switched to rtx 2060 wich has only display port and my monitor does not have it so i bought dp to DVI and it only gives me max 60 hz does anyone knows what is the issue and if i can fix it in any way!

Enter fields, Dp to dvi, have a read and look at the adapter recommendations and take note of the adapter not compatible with your monitor.

You will needs DVI dual link active adapter to get 144hz. But they are really expensive.

Good idea, dvi is pretty much dead. Freesync monitors work on Nvidia cards now with Displayport so that might interest you.

Yeah, I would ditch the monitor and get a new one.
