I have an HP M28a printer/scanner connected via USB to my Windows 10 workstation. I want other machines to be able to use the print and scan functions when my Windows 10 workstation is powered down. My router (Netgear R7800) supports sharing a USB printer, but it doesn't mention scanning facilities.
Is there any way that I can use both the printing and scanning facilities of the HP over the LAN?

Solution
If the printer is connected to your PC, and the PC is OFF, no. You cannot do this.
Since the router does not support scanning, also no, you can't do this.
