Can I transfer my HDD without wiping it?

I'm building a completely new Gaming Rig and the only parts that I'm re-using is my HDD, Case, and PSU.

Is it possible to take my HDD straight out of my current rig and put it into my new one without wiping it? I have a bunch of games and stuff on it, and slow internet so I'd rather not, lol. (also not wiping windows, if possible)

Physically you can but there's no grantee you could boot off of it since the system information is different. You could use it, however, as a secondary drive and access the information on it (games etc) if you have another formatted Drive to use that will host your OS.

Most of the time it will not boot , it's better to backup and clean install , that way you avoid instability and driver issues.

Yes you can. But your old motherboard drivers may conflict. I would suggest just re-installing windows to get your pc fully properly functioning and avoid further problems.
