Can I upgrade my AMD A8-6410 2.0GHz to a A10-4600M 2.3GHz TURBO 3.2? (Laptop)

I was thinking of upgrading my processor. I have 12 Gigs of RAM on my laptop with (as stated above) a a8-6410. Upgrading it to a a10-4600m laptop processor would help boost performance. No. Your current CPU is a Socket BGA769/FT3 chip, while the A10-4600m series is a Socket FS1r2 chip. I don't know if the A8-6410 is the most powerful chip on that socket series, but even if it isn't and it is upgrade-able, it probably won't be worth the money and effort required to swap it out.
