Can i upgrade to 64bit

hi all not sure if any one can help i got a PC about 3 weeks ago that came with win 7 32bit but can i put a 64bit on the CPU is a Intel core 2 extreme x6800 and the motherboard is a asus p5n32-sli se deluxe and with the motherboard i want to upgrade the graphics card i take it that it has the pci express fittings thanks

The processor will work with a 64 bit OS, so you should be fine.

As he said, you will lose all your programs and settings during the 64 bit install.
