Question Can i use a hdmi to dvi converter with the hyte y60 screen so i dont have to waste a hdmi port on my gpu?

Depends on the GPU I suppose.

Last DVI port from Nvidia was from the 20 series I believe and the RX 500 series from AMD.

Most GPUs that have DVI ports would have likely allowed for three monitors clock signals. If you want to use all 4 ports on such cards, you will need an active DVI to HDMI adapter.

Another option would be to get a USB display adapter and run the extra screen through that.

But, you could also just invest that money in to getting a GPU that supports 4 outputs normally.

If your CPU has an IGP that might be another option for you, but without knowing your setup it's all just guesses.
