So, I recently bought an rtx 3080. But I've run into a problem. my psu (being an old thermaltake 750W) only has one 8 pin "slot"and it has 4 6-pins. I have 2 cables for the gpu. An 8 pin to 8 pin and a 6+2 to 8 pin. Would it be better if i just left the 2pins out and plugged the 8 pin to it's slot and did the same with only the 6 pin (without the other 2 pins), would it better to connect the remaing to pin to another psu slot (like one of these 6 pins i have, and have it occupy 2 of the 6 pins in that slot) or do i need to get a new psu?

More speciffically my psu is:

As noted in your other thread, you NEED a new PSU.
Period.
Do not power up this system with that PSU.
