Can i use any cpu fan on an intel 3770k?

i'm wondering if i can use any intel cpu fan on my intel 3770k or does it need an specefic one ?
if so, what ones can i use ?

Hi niels55I,
As far as I know, the i7 fan is different and a little larger. So you would need a specific i7 CPU fan, one here on ebay...

For aftermarket coolers you need to check two things.

1) You have to make sure it is compatible with socket 1155
2) You have to make sure at the it can handle at the very least a 77 Watt TDP.
