can i use cooler master core2duo cooler for core2quad q6600

i have a cooler master DI5-9HDSL-R1-GP cooler can i use it for a intel core 2 quad 2.4(q6600) processor
i dont overclock will my pc be stable or not please advice

If you use thermal paste, and it is seated correctly, it should be fine. But still track the temps as soon as you get your PC working.

If you need software I recommend this:

Make sure you case has food ventilation and your temps should be fine.

According to this it doesn't support it, I would just get a aftermarket cooler for it. It shouldn't be to much of a problem.

i dont have much budget to buy a aftermarket one.
will the temp rise more than recomended amount if i use the DI5-9HDSL-R1-GP
