Can I use cotton tips to clean my motherboard's dusts ?

Just wondering if it is safe to use cotton tips for cleaning the dusts on my mobo's PCB.

I wouldn't do it. Use a canned air solution. Mine is called "perfect duster" and is sold at fry's electronics. It contains a solvent to help clean off the dust. The solvent evaporates quickly leaving no residue.

Regular cotton swabs you'd use to clean your ears?? No - Cos bits of cotton can get pulled off.

A lint~free cloth and a little Isopropyl (*not* "Rubbing") alcohol, if you insist on doing a car~like Detail. Otherwise, canned air is the usual treatment.
