can i use my key twice?

i have a windows 10 usb i bought with the key, if i build a new pc can i use the same key and have activated windows? or will it not work because i have used it on my (old not in use) pc?

The above mentioned cmd does nothing, really. It tells that particular system it has no license, but does not phone home and tell the activation servers at MS.


Basically, you can use that license key on new hardware, but only one system at a time.
I believe you are able to transfer your product key from one computer to another. I don't remember if this has changed. If it has then you'd have to purchase a new product key.

However you will need to deactivate windows on your current computer before activating it on the new one.
 


how does one deactivate windows on their pc?
 


easiest way in my opinion is to go to CMD (command prompt) and type in 'slmgr /upk'
