Hello. I have a Supermicro server, but it is too noisy. The fans it uses are 80mm 12V 3A 13k RPM. The server is not running at 100% all the time, so I plan to use the Noctua 80mm fans to replace the original Supermicro fans.
What I concern is, Supermicro's fans are running at 12V 3A, while the Noctua NF-R8 1800 PWM fan's max input current is only 0.06A. Will the server's power supply keep pushing 3A current to the Noctua fan and burn it?
