Question Can I use the P310 2280 with ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi 7?

I'm a new member here and have been away from computers for a couple of years
so, I'm Building a new Gaming Pc for Christmas

and I have been ordering parts from Amazon I ordered the ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi 7
also ordered the P310 Gen4 NVMe 2280 M.2 SSD from crucial

But it looks tiny compared to all other SSD M.2 I have seen in the past.

My Question is
Can I use the P310 2280 with ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi 7?

NVME M2 drives comes in various sizes and 2280 is just one of them. All motherboards are manufactured keeping compatibility in mind.

if it were here, I would have tried it

But according to this PSU Table from ASUS
I need a 1000w power supply link below

Providing it's good make and model. 850W PSU is more than enough. It has more to do with GPU which is usually taking more power than rest of system.

RX 7900 XTX max power is 355W​

 
7900XTX draws around 350w
7900X3D draws around 120w
Motherboard average 50w to 60w
Memory each module around 5w
SSD around 5w max

Ideally you should not exceed 550w to 600w even in worst case scenario. I am not sure if these cards are susceptible to transient spikes, some NVidia cards are or were.

A good quality Tier A 750w/850w should be adequate for the configuration.
