Can i use the usb port on my router to have a wired connection to my xbox?

My xbox's ethernet port is definitely not working. Tried different cables, different ports and no success. I need to send it away to get repaired at cost however I was wondering if the usb port on my router could be used to connect to the xbox for a wired connection. I have wireless connection and its ok but I wanted to have the wired connection as obviously it is superior.

I don't think so, even if you did it would be slow. I'd suggest buying a xbox 360 wireless usb adapter that will be sufficient enough to game online with it
