Can i use the WAN Ethernet connection on my home desktop?

Hello,
It seems like my router ethernet ports are not working. I cannot get to te internet, or do i have an IP adresss...i stopped working a few months ago...i was wondering te the router does have a WAN Ethernet port (looks like USB) can i can to my desktop that way...u ntil I replace my router.
