Can I use to coax to ethernet adapter for this?

Thank you for the answer. Just curious is there a way to test if the coax is working without spending a lot of money in the first place?

Amazon changed their return policy this year, and no longer give a 100% refund if you return a non-defective item. I got hit with it when I had to return an unopened book (was for my mom, and she gave me the wrong title). They did give me a 100% refund on a pair of headphones which caused my ears to hurt after using them more than 15 minutes.

If you don't have a coax tester, you can try a continuity test. Plug coax cable into both outlets, one of them being long enough to go to the other room. Then use a multimeter to test that there's continuity in the center wire. It won't be a bulletproof test - the speed you get with MoCA will depend on a lot of other factors that can't be tested without actually trying it. But it should eliminate the simplest case where the two coax outlets aren't even connected.

Well damn, tho I'm not surprised. I've been guilty of abusing that return system a few times over the years. Thanks for the heads up.
