I have a Asus gaming laptop 1050ti with a USB C micro port and I was wondering if it would be possible to put an HDMI converter to use the laptop screen for video in? if I can what program would I need and how would I go about doing it?

I want to use the laptop screen for a mac mini.

You need a "video capture device" then you would stream the results of the video capture to your laptop screen. The answers above, NO and NO are more correct if you just want to use your laptop screen as a monitor because it would be far cheaper to buy a good monitor and it would work better.
