Hello!
Firstly excuse me if this thread is not in the right place.

So i decided to build myself a budget PC and although i read a lot on the internet about these kinds of stuff i think i made a rookie mistake.
So i decided to go with:
FX 8320E
GIGABYTE 970A-UD3P,
but i want to cheap out on the video card because i will not play the newest games and i don't need ultra settings so i found cheap used HD 5850(the deal is not finalized). And after seeing reviews online i saw that the HD 5850 needs "500 Watts & 40 Amps" and it is a known fact that the FX series are power hungry too.

And here is the tricky part yesterday in my country there was a sale on Corsair VS550 and i bought one, but just know i got concerned will it handle them well and could i do an overclock on the FX .

Solution
the Corsair VS series is not at all a good PSU unit. It has low quality Capacitors and is not much efficient. I would suggest to go for an Antec or Corsair PSU with at least 650 Watts.
