Can Kingston CL2.5 be reliably run at 2.0?

After searching the forum, I've determined that 512 MB of PC2700 would be the best choice for my Athlon 2000+ and A7V8X mobo. I've also read that most major brands with CL2.5 can be reliably run at CL2.0 without any major problems. Is Kingston one of those brands? Or is there another brand of 2.5 that is more stable and reliable than Kingston?
