Hi (sorry for any confusing grammar)

I currently have an GTX 1060 6gb and I've been looking for a new graphics card. I've lookied at the GTX 1080 and the RTX 2070. Because the RTX 2070 is cheaper I decided to go with that one. A while back I asked the community if the i5 8600K is good enough to handle the RTX 2070, which the community said yes.
Thread here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3849527/8600k-good-rtx-2070.html

Recently I did some usage tests and benchmarks. The problem is that I don't know much about GPU and CPU usage, but I know something about bottlenecks. So what I found out in the usage test is that the CPU usage is often under the GPU usage. How does this affect if I should buy a new graphics card and what other things should I do with my system (maybe if I need to buy a new CPU)

Usage test
Battlefield 1: GPU 97% and CPU 94%(with CPU sometimes dropping down to 80%)
CoD Black Ops 4: GPU 98% and CPU 65-75%(unstable CPU usage between 55-80%)
GTA 5: GPU 60% and CPU 50%(GTA is a little unstable and has low usage overall)

Dose the RTX 2070 benefit my computer in any way? And should I buy it? Or what do you guys recommend in this situation? Maybe you can teach me a thing about usage testing

Thanks for any help!

My PC specs:

ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6gb
8gb RAM 3200Mhz
CPU Intel Core i5-8600K
Corsair Hydro H115i pro cooler
ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-H Gaming motherboard
Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD + HDD 1tb

I'd also get. 16gb ram during the upgrade as that's probably whats holding you up in gtav. In bf1 you'll get basically no more fps, but will be able to run higher settings for same.fps since your basically cpu bound already. Bo4 you should see some decent gains. I'm not sure what you'll get as it's kinda wonkey I suspect because you're ram starved

Thank you very much. I will look at some RAM I can upgrade to. And you think I can buy the RTX 2070 without any negative effect besides that I don't gain FPS in every game? Like, its a positive upgrade?

If you 100% only want more fps there will be cases where you won't get them. If higher settings for the same or really close fps are wanted then you'll definitely get that. Any game where your fps stays the same the only help will be ocing your processor which you should be able to do with your cooler
