can my laptop run GTA V?

im downloading GTA V right now, and i want to know if it can run smoothly or not

lots of games i own run VERY smoothly at maxxed out settings on this laptop, like driver san francisco, garry's mod, etc.

anyways, here are the specs

model: lenovo flex 3 1580 2-in-one touchscreen laptop
CPU: intel core i7 6500U 2.5 GHZ skylake
GPU: nvidia geforce 940m 2 GB and integrated intel HD graphics 520 skylake (laptop has a dedicated graphics chip and integrated graphics)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
HDD: 1 TB
OS: windows 10 64 bit

can it run?

the systemrequirementslab detection told me that my laptop meets the minimum requirements, but not the recommended, so i guess i can run it on low-medium settings

you guys really need to work on your computer knowledge, i was able to run the game at high settings just fine with no slowdowns or lag, im probably gonna go to an actual computer forum filled with professionals from now on.

shows the 940m running high with 15fps. That is the data I went from seeing as you were to lazy to do it yourself. I still doubt you can run it fine on high unless its a very small resolution.

i CAN run it fine on high, the texture detail is on normal mode, everything else is on high and the resolution is at 1600 x 1920, if you dont believe me, then be that way. if it runs fine for me, then im ok with it.

hey daniel........i had just purchased the notebook with same configurations.........its hp 15-ab210tx...........can u plz tell me which games are ou able to play?

im able to play GTA V, minecraft at high settings, terraria, garry's mod, sim city 4, ship simulator extremes, and more, but i cant list them all
