Can my old MB harm new GPU?

Guys,maybe it is a stupid question but either way,I want to ask I am in a process of building a new PC and some parts i need yet to buy.

I have 3 years old Mobo with a fx8350 cpu and i recently bought GTx 1070,new psu,case,etc. I just need to buy new motherbord,cpu and DDR4. I am waiting for ZEN to see what will happend honestly. If not of it I would already buy rest of parts with a new Kabylake processor.

Anyway,question is will something happend to my new GTX if I pair with that old mobo while waiting for rest? (Can MB give electroshock to graphic card or i dont know,something else..? I am paranoid for that matter) Thanks in advance.

As long as the board and the rest of the system is in good working condition, there's no way an older board will hurt the gfx card.

Hmm,I don't know how to check if MB is working properly but did not have expirienced any problems with it howsoever..Ok,thx for replay. If someone have something to add,please
