Can my PC handle GTX970 ?

Hello good ppl's from tomshardware ! Im new here , sorry for my english and also if i didn't post this in the right category. I want to ask can my pc handle the GTX970 ?

PC Specs :

4 GB RAM 1600 MHz
FX6100 3,30 GHz
ASRock 960 GM - GS3 FX
and a 500W Aspire PSU

Yes it will support the 970

Your PSU is very low quality, I personally wouldn't risk connecting it to a 970, it could go pop and destroy everything.

In CPU intensive games you will be held back by your CPU, but in non CPU intensive games the combo will be good. Also 8gb ram is the standard for modern games.

Answer to your question Yes. I do agree with sizzling on the psu.. you need to have a good heart if you want to run a marathon or your drop dead.

Okay i really appericiate this guys. I have one more question , i just want to hear more opinions to be sure what to do , and if i need to change my PSU what kinda you recommend becouse im on a budget , i can spend above 40€ for it.

If you want to upgrade the GPU it is worth investing in a PSU for your system to just protect components overall.

Consider a unit which you can use in a future PC build as PSU tech only develops VERY slowly.

^ you'd want to be going for the bronze model which is £5 more - ive stripped 2 of these supplies down & even though they essentially look to be the same hardware the non certified one seems to suffer some fairly bad 12v ripple past 300w.
