Can my PSU handle the 8gb Rx 480

I bought a refrence 8gb RX 480 to use on my pc.I currently own a BeQuiet system power 8 400w. Would that be enough for my system?It's got an i5 3470 and an hdd on it.

I think....probably not.

The recommendation is 500 watts.

I have seen this recommendation from the manufacturer and elsewhere.
