I have just build a system for a week:
Asus P8H67-V
Intel Core i5 2300 2.8 GHz
Corsair CM3X 2*2GB 1333 MHz
PSU Coirsair CX430v2
I took this PSU because I intended to buy a Asus 6770 in near future.
However, I was received a Asus EAH6850 Direct CU V2 with 2*6 pin power connectors.
I wonder if my PSU can handle the system?
Can somebody tell me an advice?
(sorry for my english, i'm learning E at the moment :D )

Solution

You should be OK as long as you dont overclock. But buying a 500w PSU would be better - higher efficiency, longer lifespan, possibly less noise.

Yes. I connected a molex to PCIE adapter. My question is about the power consumption of the whole system and if my PSU can meet this in case i do not overclock the VGA :??:
