can my r9 270x handle a 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor?

I have a decent gaming rig powered by my single r9 270x which runs my games flawlessly. I'm getting a new monitor and wanted 27inch with good resolution so can my card handle a 27inch 2560x1440 while playing games like league of legends, titanfall, and various others while maintaining good fps? Thanks for any feedback!

Sure. That's what it's made for. of course your frame rates will be lower than with a 1080p monitor. The screen size doesn't matter. Just the resolution.

You shouldn't have any problems. Just a slightly slower framerate. But if those few frames really matter to you, you can go into the game settings and set the resolution from there. That's what I do on SWTOR.
