[SOLVED] Can not boot to BIOS screen on new build

I just completed a new build.
i7-9700KF
Gigabyte Z390 UD
PNY Quadro P620

HDMI cable goes into back of MB, not GPU.

When I turn it on, all lights seem to come on in the chassis and on the MB, I hear the typical boot noise, all fans are running including.

I don't get anything to show up on the monitor. I have tried hitting delete as recommended by Gigabyte .

I don't know if this cabling issue, GPU, CPU or operator error (I am a novice).

I do get to bios from the GPU interface. Is it surprising I don't get there from the MB? I am aware that the KF version of the CPU has no graphics support. I just didn't know if the GPU fed graphical data through the MB? If it should, what is the better way to connect? Thank you.

You should connect your display to the GPU, not the motherboard connectors.
