Greetings Everyone,
I recently purchase a barnded HP elite 8300 minitower with the following specs:

i5 3470
8 Gb ddr3 ram
1 tb segate hard drive
Use onboard graphics (No separate Gpu installed)

The system came pre installed with a version on Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Now i want to install windows 10 pro 64bit on it. When I boot up from the Windows 10 DVD. The blue windows logo screen comes up and after loading, the screen goes black and I get the following error message:

"Can not display current video mode!"

I have tried installing windows using another monitor and also changed the VGA cable but it vain.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Do the below setting on your windows 7 and then try installing windows 10.

Try this first:
Boot into safe mode and change the resolution to something that the monitor can handle and reboot into normal mode. Now try installing windows 10.

If the above solution doesn't help, try the below
Boot into safe mode and uninstall the display adapter drivers from Device Manager and reinstall the same.

Follow these steps:
1. Click “Start” and click “Run.”
2. Type “devmgmt.msc” and hit “Enter.”
3. Expand “Display adapters.”
4. Right-click the device and click “Uninstall.”
5. Restart the computer and try installing.

Good Luck.:) Peace.
