Can one 170TI run Three monitors?

Hello,

If I plugged this lone 1070 TI with three monitors and only using display ports, while I game on one screen and work on my other two would I suffer a triple split frame rate or something else?
Also is this recommended or is SLI suggested/required?

It can certainly drive 3 displays, yes.

I wouldn't look to game across all 3, but it's certainly more than capable of gaming on 1, displaying x2.

Not 100% sure whether you can use all 3 DisplayPorts at one time..... but I believe you can.
If, randomly it cannot - then 2x DP + 1x HDMI to DP adapter should work
