Stupido Distinguished Sep 17, 2008 342 0 18,810 Mar 4, 2009 #1 I have Q9650 overclocked to 4GHz (500x8), but I would like to try it bit higher. So far it looks like I'm not able to, so does anyone knows how far should I go with the juice while playing safely? Currently it is a notch below 1.4V... Thanks!

J jeremyrailton Distinguished Oct 12, 2006 389 0 18,780 Mar 4, 2009 #3 it depends on your temps. you'd like it to stay in the 50s, 60s are probably ok, but you don't really want to get into the 70s

Stupido Distinguished Sep 17, 2008 342 0 18,810 Mar 4, 2009 #4 Currently I'm running ~48-50 degrees Celsius, so I guess I have some room... I guess ~60 or max 65 is safe?
