I need an expert to check my work.I dont know if the memory department is set correct.Also,am I suppose to change K8 to NB setting to match the Sb to NB setting wich is @ 4x
I was able to achieve 2.90 with idle temps 36c(wich is my ambient temp) and 54c peak on prime95 (7 hrs).I didnt mess with my vcore it's set to 1.472 but on CPU-Z it reads 1.488 - 1.504?hmm
One thing I had a hella of time tweaking was my memory.Its abit confusing and didnt know what I was doing.The only way I was able to test for performace was to see if my fps went up in DOD source(a game wich the better the cpu/mem the higher the fps) my result was 20 fps improvement ...here are my settings:
CPU FSB 242
Mult. x12
SB to NB 200
K8 to NB 4x <....(the noob guide didnt mention 2 settings to change?)
Sb to NB 4x
both linkswidths 16 up/down
RAM settings:
MEM divider 200/183
The A64 Mem.Freq program shows my freq would be @210 with these settings.
CPU-Z shows MEM Freq.@ 223.6 mhz (I dont know if thats good cus its DDR 400 did I go over?I lowered the divider to 166 and it dropped my performance in FPS so I pushed FSB to 250 @ 3.0 to give 200 mhz on mem freq,but it crashed in game.I think I need a water cooler to raise to voltage if I want to go there.)
Clock rates: 2.5 3 3 6 13 1T 16
Volts raised to 2.85 from 2.80

ONE more thing...I read that the latest bios update "1205" gave some people lower temps.Then I read that bios updating is not advised unless you are experienceing problems.So any advice ???Anyone
