So i did some testing and benching of my gigabyte g5 kf i5 12500h rtx 4060 laptop.
I bought this laptop 2nd hand and it was throttling, after i got it i installed some ptm 7950,undervolted my gpu to 2475mhz/900mv + 800mhz vram clock,i got a laptop stand and i keep my room cool cuz i like it colder and now temps are more than acceptable.
cpu temps in games does not go above 86c and gpu temps never go above 76c
voltage regulator temp was 94 degrees on multicore cinebench
cinebench multicore cpu maintained 3.5-3.6ghz at 86c
in cinebench singlecore i get 102 score at 4.5ghz and 70-ish C temperature
in heaven superposition i get 16k on entertainment mode and 18k in performance mode BUT fps in games is horrible?
i played cs2 on entertainment (most of the settings are very high) and i get 200fps stable
on performance mode fps was 90ish
in marvel rivals entertainment mode is 160-180 depends on where i am on the map
(medium settings cuz i prefer more FPS cuz of 144hz)
on performance mode i was getting 60ish fps? what is the problem
laptop never throttles, never overheats, its running pretty cool for its horrible cooling (ik this laptop is manufactured by clevo and has horrible cooling but its more than acceptable now)

edit: i tested some more in games, and now i get more fps in games but in riva i noticed that its drawing less power, clock speeds are slower, theres higher cpu usage, more fan noise, more temperature BUT its giving me more fps. How i have no f idea.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Marvel's Rivals is actually a mixed bag. I would advise you to run DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Can you walk us through how you had undervotled the processor and GPU? Does your laptop have any BIOS updates pending?
