THE ISSUE
I've had an issue with my pc struggling at times and freezing (80% in games. 20% in basic stuff like watching youtube and what not. I do not use my pc for anything else) I am very new to owning a pc and I really don't know where to start to tackle this issue. The issues usually goes this way; I am in a game I wanna search something, so I tap out and into chrome, and boom a 10 second pause (Audio plays for half the time of freezing then puases then resumes when I am not forzen. Not sure if this is needed info.) Example 2: I am on a zoom meeting nothing else is running in the back or downloading or anything as such, but then everything freezes again and I am disconnected (One of the main reasons for this forum as I can not do basic busniess meetings.)
WHAT I HAVE DONE/KNOW
So far, I have only optimized my pc a little bit, driver updates, set the ram in bios to xpo. My issue is that I did not grow up with much tech other than a cell phone. So I am very lost and confused on where how do I trouble shoot my issue. A friend told me it could be my wifi since it is a little on the bad end. I can not just buy new wifi to test out though.
WHAT AM ASKING
If this is some kind of obvious situation where someone can easily point out it out then great. If not I was told the best thing to do is stress test my pc. I am looking for a tool that can stress test components one by one or run in the back as i do daily stuff and read the history to see what went bad. I have no clue what to actually use to do either.
MY SPECS
cpu - 7800x3d
gpu 7700xt (by gigabyte)
MB B650 gaming x ax
32 gigs of ram
Windows 11 pro
2tb ssd
cat 6 ethernet (7.5MB/s wifi speed) (before you comment know that I have feelings)
1200 watt psu (Yes I know its over kill)
monitor is 1440p 240fps
rgb is red not sure if other colors give better performance
I am really sorry if I forgot to list anything or if I am misusing forums. Very sorry if my explaining sounds like a little kid's english isnt my first langauge.
