How much did you pay for this thing?

What do you propose to use it for?

A little over $250, incl shipping & tax.
I thought the case & power supply could at least be utilized.

Just needed a pc at a low price, and I had a rack.

That drive bay looks to be connected to the motherboard via standard SATA data/power.

Remove the front facing hotswap bays, and see what is left.

Expensive, and slower than a standard SATA III SSD.

But, it appears to connect to the motherboard via regular SATA connections.
So a SATA III SSD would work. Just have to figure out what actual mount is needed.

Yeah, you could install the OS on that 500GB Raptor.

Actually, thats not a bad way forward, to verify all of the rest of it works, for little or no extra money.
