Hi,
So I have my main router placed far away from my desktop computer (Well its like 20 meters away, but there are like 5 walls and many obstacles in between) and unfortunately, I can't move it for a specific reason.
I have a TP-Link WN721N as my wireless USB adapter, but it can barely see my router as an access point, which means it can't connect to it and even if it does, the connection wont be stable at all.
So my first solution was to install DD-WRT on my TP-Link WR741ND router and turn it into a bridge I put the router between the main router and the computer but the connection is not stable at all, I even tried changing the channels with InSSIDer but didn't work. So I think getting a repeater or access point wont work either?
Since my brother's laptop can EASILY connect to the access point even when he is in the same room I am in, I thought I should get a MORE POWERFUL Adapter, BUT WHY THEY DON'T MENTION THE ADAPTER'S COVERAGE ON THEIR PRODUCT BOX!!!????
So what about this one? http://www.linksys.com/en-eu/products/adapters/AE6000
My system can support PCI and PCI-Express too, but its hard to find specific electronics in my country and E-Shopping taxes are so expensive here too.
I am a gamer so I need the best connection stability and quality I can get.
Here is a picture showing the map of my house:
