Can someone please confirm my rig can run a 1070

My setup is as follows:

Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

MSI H97 GAMING 3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Intel 535 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Cougar SL500W ATX Power Supply


And I'd like to grab the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card.

After much research of my own I cannot find any reason why I would not be able to run the card but would really like a second or third educated opinion.

It should work. Here's a video with a different H97 board.

beside the fact that you need to upgrade the PSU, no real problem to install the 1070.
I hope you realize that 1070 is overkill for 1080p@60Hz monitors.

Card will run fine on that. PSU is junk I would replace it, but it will work for now.
