Yeah you can run the TV at 4k 120Hz, long as you have a graphics card with Hdmi 2.1.

40~120Hz is Freesync range. Between 40 and 120fps you shouldn't experience tearing etc. So if your pc can push more than 120 frames then that'll be outside Freesync range so you'd want to either use Vsync to automatically limit frames from going over or manually cap yourself with fps limiter. Both Amd and Nvidia have fps limiters in their software. 4k is demanding so the possibility of needing to limit fps probably won't be necessary anyway.
