Hi, just wondering if the fading on the teeth or pins is normal or if anything else looks abnormal? Thanks.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please elaborate what you're referring to as fading. In fact you might want to provide a higher resolution, picture of the cards PCI express connector/fingers if that's your point of concern. If you see any form of tarnishing on the slots/connector, you can take an eraser and gently rub the carbon deposit off the gold contacts.

Not with eraser, it may leave rubber, just a clean piece of paper vetted with alcohol.Hi Lutfij, thanks for responding, this is the best pic I have atm, I’m just talking about the whiter section on the gold connector teeth on the right side. So that should come off with an eraser then? Thanks again.
Great, thanks for the info. Not with eraser, it may leave rubber, just a clean piece of paper vetted with alcohol.
Also be very gentle and careful, contacts are very thin and gold plating just a micron or two thick.Great, thanks for the info.
