My cpu fan cable is snug between the screws and the heatsink, literally hugging the heatsink for cable management. Is this dangerous to the cable or the heatsink?

Solution
Picture? It's not dangerous for it to be against the heatsink, because that doesn't actually get that hot. If you have screws actually holding it against something, like, using the screws to secure the cable in place by pinching the cable in between the two surfaces, then that is not a good idea. If it's just routed between them, it should not be a problem.

Yeah it's just routed through the cables like this.
