[SOLVED] Can the graphics card be separated from the motherboard on a Qosmio X870?

When running applications which require my graphics card to kick in, my system just shuts down. The laptop has no problem surfing the net and running simple apps. But, if I try gaming, it shuts the whole thing down.

Yes, the battery is good. The temp does not increase, before the system shuts down.

I finally got an answer from Toshiba. Apparently, the graphics card cannot be separated. Looks as though I need a new motherboard.
