I'm building a PC, and I've been struggling with decision for GPU. The PC I plan to build is:
CPU: AMD FX-6300
MOBO: ASROCK 970 (or any other that can work well with this CPU)
RAM: 2x4GB Dual channel

On my current PC I have Nvidia GT 630 1GB DDR5, and I believe that it ain't gonna work anything special with this configuration. So I have been thinking of buying Radeon R7 260X 2GB DDR5 (I'm limited to 150ish dollars). Do you believe it will work well with this configuration? And what is the difference between prefixes of GPU, in this case there are Asus one, Gigabyte and MSI for this graphic card.

All answers are MUCH appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Where are you gonna order those? If from Germany (mindfactory) you save a lot of money and get this:
http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/3072MB-PowerColor-Radeon-R9-280X-TurboDuo-OC-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_948063.html

It will beat shit of r7 260x

and dont buy the asrock 970(i have heared somewhere that it has some issues with the vrm cooling), so play it safe a buy a asus m5a97 2.0. Same price but much stable and better for overclocking
