[SOLVED] Can you add a 3.5" 160GB WD Caviar Blue (https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16822136075) to a HP Pavilion 510-p010?

I would like to add a 160GB WD Caviar Blue (https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16822136075 ) to my HP Pavilion 510-p010. Is this possible? I already have a 1TB HDD (HP)

didnt even know they still make 160gb drives.

I dont actually know, but I can tell you how to check.

open the chasis and look for a sata port, they should be on the motherboard and they look like a square sorta with a L in them. google sata port and it will show up

next you need to look for a sata power cable, it should come out of the power supply
(that is the part where all the internal cables come out of and the cable from the wall plugs into.)

This drive is an IDE drive, do you know of any good converters from IDE to SATA that is cheap?

Why do you want this particular drive?

If you just want the data off it, a USB dock will work.
