Can you build a cheaper and better build than this?

All you need to do is focus on these main 6 parts. Do you think you can build a cheaper and better build than this that's able to play modern games? I'm trying to find the limit of cheap and good quality gaming in 2017.

A Ryzen 3 1200 + AB350 MB will perform much better than that i3+H110 MB.

When that i3's performance will bottom out at GTX1060 tier of graphic power; once overclocked, the R3 1200 can keep up with at least GTX1070 tier and still perform very well with GTX1080 tier GPU.

And that PSU need to be replaced. The VS *50 green/yellow labeled PSU is known for dropping the main 12V rail under load and causing the system to shutdown.

I wouldn't buy a kaby lake i3 nowadays.

You can get full 4 core chips like the ryzen 1200 & i3 8100 for similar money.

The motherboard will cost more (substantially so for the i3 8100) but an a320 board (no overclocking) is a similar price & a b350 (overclocking ) is $15-20 more

Are these changes fullfilling? The price ended up to be €555 so no issue with the cheaper part.

The new CX 2017 models haven't been reviewed yet (or atleast one platform it uses), whereas the CXM 2015 models have, and proven to be great value.

Try look for a corsair CXM grey label, OP.

The GTX 1060 6gb is about the limit for a 1200 as well. Being a true quad core, it does better in titles that use 4 threads though. Kaby lake at this point makes little sense, unless your budget dictates a Pentium G4560/4600 type build.

@rexper - I did find a post (I thinkon jonnyguru) where a guy named slinky stripped a GW unit down & it turned out to be pretty much to the tx what the cwt model is to the RM.

As in downrated emi filtering & downgraded secondary teapo caps

& yeah no real world testing I've seen but the atforms looks decent , its dc-dc still, corsair see fit to give it a 5 year warranty still

I'd still taken it over a seasonic eco or s12 430 at the same price because it generally looks to be a better PSU full stop.

The low end seasonic aren't great psu's IMO, apart from the all jap caps the performance is kind of average anyway.

For 1080p result, the OCed R3 1200 can still deliver improved performance on either GTX1070 or GTX1080 if the user upgrade to those GPU from a GTX1060, unlike the G4560 (basically a lower clocked Kabylake i3), so while those GPU still have a bit more muscle left over when paired with a R3 1200, they aren't being outright bottlenecked by the R3, so I disagree with your assertion that "the GTX 1060 6GB is the limit for a 1200". And obviously the 1440p ability of those 1070/1080 will make the CPU matter less.

OP already made it known that he's in Netherland, quoting Deutsche price does him no good. Azerty.nl is about the place with the best price for him and the cheapest, a 2x4GB 2133 green Crucial kit there is €78.99 and the cheapest GTX1060, the Palit GTX1060 3GB StormX single fan is €215.70.

A 520w seasonic isn't much more, and will give you some headroom for upgrades. Ryzen needs fast ram.

Everything there is of superior price/performance to what's been listed before.

The tosh drives I use myself , & the ballistix ram (it has very little trouble running at 2933 even on ryzen chip sets)

Though there is still the CWT version which we aren't sure about.

Though I agree to try and avoid those older Seasonics, as they use an old group regulated design with poor protections.
