Can you crossfire hd 7850 with hd 7950?

i have a Sapphire HD 7850 OC edition, i was wondering can i crossfire it with A HD 7950 or do they have to be identical? might sound like a stupid question, thx

You cannot crossfire them, they're running different gpus, the 7850 has a pitcairn and the 7950 has Tahiti.
