I have and Aorus x570 Elite (layout). It has 4 fan headers: SYSFAN1, CPUOPT, CPUFAN, SYSFAN2
I have a front-mounted Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 rev.2 (2 FANS) plus 3 FANS that come on the front of case plus 4 FANS that I'm adding inside the case. (9 total fans)
The three fans on the front (3 pin) are push, on the other side of the radiator are the 2 AIO fans, which are pull. Above the PSU I have two fans pushing up and at the top of the case I have two fans pushing up out the top of case.
What I really need help with is just confirmation with where I should plug them into the MOBO. This is the plan:
SYSFAN1 = fan hub (all fans inside case plus 3 3-pin fans on front = 7 fans)
CPU OPT = first fan from radiator
CPUFAN = second fan from radiator
SYSFAN2 = Liquid cooler pump connection?
I had heard that there can be problems adjusting fan speeds with a hub, so my thoughts were to keep the radiator fans separate.
Does all that make sense? Am i doing it right with the headers?
Thanks in advance,
GS
