Can you plug HDD into new cpu and MOBO

if i change the mobo and cpu do i have to do something to the hdd or is it okay?

If the HDD is SATA, it should work. You might need to reinstall Windows, though.

When you get a new m/b and cpu you usually have to reload windows from scratch unless its the same exact m/b then sometimes you can get away with just using the old drive as is . I would recomend re installing windows. if the old drive will be your boot drive.
