I want a nice looking and convenient way to plug things into my PC without having to fight for the ugly front USB. I want multiple ports and a micro sd card slot. I want this: UD-6950PDH
But I'm worried about power. If I connect the side 100 watt USB-C to my motherboard's usb a 3.0 port, will it work, will power be going into my pc and will that make it blow up like in a Lethal Weapon movie?
