Question Can you use standard SL120 Infinity fan cables for the reverse blade version?

Just recently, I bought a 3-pack of the SL120 Infinity standard version for my PC, and it worked perfectly fine. However, I decided to purchase the reverse blade version for the aesthetic. When the reverse blade arrived, it came with a separate cable compared to the standard version. The cable that came with the reverse blade has two headers, one for RGB and one for PWM. Unfortunately, my motherboard only has one PWM header (which is already in use by the controller), so I am curious if anyone has encountered this situation before and if it is ok to use the cable that came with the standard version on the reverse blade.

Edit: It worked like normal.

If these are your current fans;
and these are the latter fans purchased;
it's the same controller.

Though you're more than welcome to pass on images of what you see on your end. Host your images on Imgur or their ilk and then pass on a link to said images.

Both are my current fans yes, but the issue lies within the cables and not the controller. View: https://imgur.com/a/XDZdwXs
In first picture the cable on the bottom is the cable I received with the reverse blade version, and the cable on the top being the one that comes with the controller. The second picture is just displaying the standard cable that plugs into the controller. I just wanted to be 100% certain that it was ok to use the cable that I got with the controller on the reverse blade version considering I received a different cable with it. As I was replying I realized it probably just came with the split up version because it doesn't include a controller with the reverse blade.
