  • Like mentioned in the title I would like something with a decent quality screen. Nothing too washed out with good brightness and color rating. It does not have to be amazing but not terrible either.
  • I would like the fan noise to be quiet. Not constantly running at 100% all the time which gets very annoying.

If you have no need for battery, 4K video playback, or any specialized, architecture- or OS-limiting software requirements at all, I'd almost recommend a Pi 400 with a good external display. It should be much cheaper too, especially since financing tech purchases is not (usually) a good idea and too costly in the long run.

Oh and it's also fanless and completely silent.

Otherwise, good quality display can be uncommon on laptops of that price range. Check out a few reviews and look for 100% sRGB coverage and 300nit minimum.

Customer service quality also could vary quite a bit by region, and can be hard to determine without local knowledge.
