Hello,
i am currently experiencing the following issue.

I am trying to connect to the administrators page on my router using the Default Gateway IP without any success, through a wired connection.
I have tried connecting using FireFox, M/S Edge, Google Chrome, and IE ending up to the "Unable to Connect" message.

I attempted to connect through my mobile device using WiFi, and i managed to connect without any issue.

I factory reset the router and the issue was still not resolved.

Can anyone give any suggestion on how to resolve my issue?

Thank you in advance.

If you did indeed do a full factory reset then the router has reverted to its factory set admin name, admin password, and default IP.

The following link should be helpful:

https://www.tp-link.com/lk/support/faq/497/

However, I recommend that you use the link to go to the Download Center (at the bottom) to find and download the applicable manual for your router. Pay attention to versioning.

Other things to do:

Doublecheck the wired network adapter's configuration settings. The settings must be reconfigured to match the reset router.

Ensure that only one network adapter is enabled on your computer. Only the wired adapter or the wireless adapter. Not both. In your case, only the wired adapter should be enabled.

Try another known working Ethernet cable between your computer and the router. Switch the ethernet cable between LAN ports as well.

Try accessing the router's admin page via another wired computer.

Failing the above:

Run "ipconfig /all" via the command prompt. Post the results.

I have tried the above already with no success.

I replaced my router with another router that i had (TL-WR641G V3). Both routers are acting the same way. I am not sure if my motherboard, or ethernet drivers may cause this problem.

Btw i connected my laptop through the same ethernet cable that my desktop pc was connected to,
and it connects just fine at the admins page.

Below i attached the information you asked for. I do not know what else to check for.

UPDATE

I fired up a Windows 10 VM that has a bridged network connection, and through the VM i managed to access the admin page.

Why connecting to the admin page through my OS failing?
